Weigh Day
Hi ya
Well weigh in day today and I stayed the same! Which I guess is better than gaining but just a wee bit bummed about it... Though upon saying that I did have heavier clothes on today due to the team building that we did so I had on trackies and a heavy tshirt so who knows perhaps I may have had another wee loss had I been wearing my "weigh in" clothes! So still 700gms till I reach the 80's... and still 1.4 kilos until I reach that ever eluding 40 kilo mark!
The team building day today ended up being lots of fun... and at the end of the day we all went away saying that we had done our bit for the local conservation which made us feel good! It was bloody hard work at times but lots of fun - not just weed pulling but chopping down fennel and broome (2 out of control weeds in NZ) and other trees as well! Applied sunblock 3 times so fingers crossed that was sufficent as I am just recovering from the last sun burn episode 2 weeks ago! I have taken some photos which like the ones of Plimmer Steps I will post on here once I have downloaded them. I do have sore feet though but that is probably from being on my feet all day and I can see an early night happening for me tonight (as well as the majority of the team) due to the fresh air and the physical work we were doing!
Foodwise today - well I had all good intentions of staying away from the BBQ sausages and meat patties at lunch time (that work provided) but hey we all know what its like when that smell drifts over to you and when one is working as well that smell is even more tempting so in the end I ended up having 3 meat patties - yeap 3 but they were small one but bloody nice! Not sure if they were any healthier than sausages when it comes to fat content etc but I felt better for chosing them over the sausages! :) Water wise - really good - about 2.5 litres which considering the walk to the nearest toilet today was a good 10 min hike down a bank to the toilets on the beach and then a good 20 min hike back up the bank I managed to hold on all day until we got back to work where there was a frantic dash to all the ladies - boy I have never been so pleased to go to the toilet!!! LOL From what I can gather the majority of us ladies had "held on" all day and when one is drinking fluids to refrain from dehydrating it is a mission in itself! Good exercise for one's pelvic muscles! LOL
Oh Jude is doing really well this week -she started her 2nd round of Chemo on Tuesday and has not been sick at all and is looking great! The only side effect she has had so far this round is tingling in her feet and arms but hey if thats all she has then that is bloody marvellous! She is going to her parents on Friday and coming back Monday morning (or Sunday night) so that will be good for her.
At this stage not a lot planned for the weekend in our household... still got a few Christmas pressies to get but we know what we are getting for most of them! Gotta wrap and organise to get the ones to Aussie posted this coming week as well. On Sunday I am meeting 2 other girls (who live in the same suburb that I do) from another forum that I am on for women who are TTC (trying to conceive). When we discovered that there are 3 of us who all live within 5 mins of each other we decided it would be nice to meet so we are meeting at the local bar/cafe on Sunday afternoon for a coffee and chat.
Right thats me - I am outta here... catch ya all later at some stage.

I'm glad your weigh in was the same - it's much better than a gain. And pleased don't get disheartened, because you ARE DEFINITELY going to get to your goals. I'm not going to let you give up and neither will the others!! Sounds like a busy day, and also sounds neat to be meeting up with other people from your TTC forum - it's so nice to meet people who you have something like that in common with!
