Getting there

Yeap am getting there slowly but surely... still got heaps of boxes to go but they are all down the other end of the house in the spare bedroom and the room that is gonna be bubs room. Sooooo what I can't see is ok in my eyes at the moment. The lounge, dining, kitchen, bathroom are all more or less done and our bedroom just needs a couple of things organised and all will be ok there too.

First thing on the agenda this morning was shopping for a new stove/range as the one here is disgusting, crappy and on the way out with one blown element already! But boy didn't realise how expensive new stoves were... we even checked out the second hand part of Newbolds to see what they had but we are still up for a few hundred dollars! OUCH! Nothing bought as yet but will definitely have to get one real soon. So in the meantime we are managing to cook meals on the stove as neither us are keen to use the oven!

Still no TV but waiting to hear back from an aeral place that Steph rung this morning - and I must admit even though it was nice for the first 24hrs or so without TV its starting to get frustrating now. I would be ok if I was away bush or something like that but with the TV sitting there teasing us it is getting hard! LOL Though probably harder for Steph than me as he is the main TV watcher in our place.

Had a phone call from the hospital today regarding my DR's latest referral for me she thought it might pay for me to see a dietican for some extra advice whilst pregnant especially with all the hard work I have done prior to the pregnancy. They have had a cancellation so am seeing him on Wednesday at 9.30am... If I wanted an early morning appt or late afternoon one I would have had to wait until late June!!!! Gees didn't realise there would be such a long waiting list for this sort of thing! It was definitely made clear to me that there is a long list and that the specialist picked me out of the list due to being pregnant so I really felt like I couldn't say no to the appt.

Anyway, best I get moving and make a start on the dishes - bring back the dishwasher! LOL Though at this stage there is NO room for one the way the kitchen is currently designed... but who knows what the future will bring....

Catch ya all later

Comments:
Hehe, dishes - welcome to the real world!! :p Hehe.
Seeing a dietician is great - I'm sure you will get some good advice.
Joseph hates me saying this but I could SO live without our tv - I'd leave it behind in a second.
Hope your week goes well :-) Nearly 12 weeks already!

Dishes, that is one thing I miss about the last place, we bought a brand new dishwasher for it and now I don't have one...... Actually after a couple of weeks I really didn't miss it LOL.

Must feel so nice to be in your own place and the pregnacy going so well....

Have a great Anzac day Jaxx

I couldn't live without my tele - although that is probably not a good confession to make, lol. Dishwasher either!!!

Dietician sounds great, make sure you share any handy tips & tricks with us :-)

Hi mate, glad to hear you are getting on top of stuff. I thought oven's were part of a house chattels that should be in working order? Check with your lawyer - if there was nothing stated about it not working in the purchase agreement then that should come off the house sale ... check it out.

My dishwasher broke down a while ago...I really miss him..lol

I would look into the oven thing - as Helena said, it should be in working order during the sale!

Glad you are settling in well:)

First thing I did when w2e got back was to check into to see how the scan went and also the move!

Pleased to hear the scan went weel - it really sounds like the pregnancy is ticking away very nicely.

Was good to hear the move went well - and hey time doing dishes together is quality time - well that's what we used to tell our kids:)

I agree with what was said about the oven, should be in going order.

We had no TV for the first two weeks when we moved into our new house (actually we basically had no electricity!). Jake reckons that's when he found out how weird his parents really are - because we talked so much!

Just noticed that the 12 weeks on your ticker is today.. so congraulations you made it though the first trimester... only two more to go!!!
Smooth sailing from here (That is until the birth.. it is!!)
